Synthetics

Just as humans created synthetic androids, they have also created a number of synthetic kiande amedha. Whether by a lone scientist or company mass-produced, they are combinations of kiande amedha physiology and cybernetic technology for control and weaponization but also one type of mostly organic synthetic known as a construct that became unintentionally mutated upon being injected with Chemical A0-3959X.91 – 15 for purposes unrelated to weaponization.

Injected with the Black Goo, the human android Elden underwent rapid mutations - taking traits from the Kiande Amedha. He grew an elongated head, exoskeleton and sharp claws.

Elden was also the only known android blooded by the Yautja.

Eloise

As both android and Kiande Amedha morphology is largely based on silicon polymers, Dr. Lichtner sought to use this as a way to grow androids at a fraction of what it cost to construct them. Dr. Lichtner infected a Queen Ovomorph with a biological computer virus using leprosy spores as a protective carrier medium. He could delete and rewrite specific DNA chains, causing the Ovomorphs to grow as a humanoid android rather than a Kiande Amedha. Eloise was the unexpected product of an early attempt at this.

Eloise is largely human in appearance. She has the cool logic of a machine, and the primal instincts of a Kiande Amedha. Her hands are those of a Kiande Amedha. Her back sprouts four Kiande Amedha Dorsal tubes. Due to her hybrid nature, she has tremendous strength, speed, and agility. She has Acidic Blood.

Her Queen DNA allows her to form a telepathic bond with other Kiande Amedha, making them subservient by instinct alone.

She is also proficient in handling firearms as well as piloting space shuttles.

Due to her prototype nature, Eloise was never programmed with behavioral inhibitors, giving her free will and capable to disobey orders.

Adelaide and Bombay holdings Alliance bought the research facility, enacting a severely hostile takeover. The organization deemed Eloise a worthwhile asset. Per her android nature, Eloise initially complied with her new Alliance masters, but with the killing of Kiande Amedha and lepers, she experienced their pain, and her Queen DNA asserted itself. Eloise led both surviving Queen DNA and lepers against the Alliance. Emerging victorious, Eloise and her brood took the Alliance transport ship to find a home, leaving behind just enough Ovomorphs and Alliance personnel for any further Alliance Investigation teams.

Pursued from star system to star system by Alliance teams, Eloise finally settles on the planet LK176 with her group of 'implanted' lepers (whose condition prevents the Chestbursters inside them from maturing) and a pack of Kiande Amedha warriors. Unfortunately, Eloise's activities attracted the Yautja's attention, and were highly intent on exterminating Eloise (an abomination in their eyes) and her brood. When another Alliance team also located Eloise, they encountered opposition from Eloise's Kiande Amedha brood and the Yautja. Emerging victorious again (at the cost of most of her leper friends), Eloise left one Alliance member alive, Lotus Hernandez, to deliver an ultimatum: to leave her people alone or she will destroy them .

Eloise Eloise: I am a hybrid, a chimera of machine and monster. I possess the cool logic of one and the primal instincts of the other. I will protect my friends, my brood, from those who would harm us. Survival is everything." Aliens: Purge. Ian Edginton. Dark Horse Comics, August 1997. Print.

Jeri

Jeri is a synthetic model named after a 20th century entertainer, Jerry Lewis, and designed to infiltrate kiande amedha Hives.

Developed by Grant-Corp, they based Jeri on the original kiande amedha-Hive infiltration synthetic, Norbert. Unlike Norbert, Jeri had a more developed and friendly personality, substantially improved reasoning skills and protocols that prevented him from harming humans.

As a kiande amedha Hive infiltration synthetic, he was equipped with artificial pheromone secretors, in order to blend into the Hive. Jeri also had a sense of dignity that left him embarrassed when his supervisor, Dr. Casper Nordling, made him smoke a cigar using his inner jaw, for cheap laughs. Grant-Corp security auditor Joy Strunk was initially very wary of Jeri, believing that he was spying on her and her husband Philip. However, when Joy and Philip found themselves drugged and waking up in Nordling's kiande amedha Hive, Jeri came to their rescue. While attempting to aid the Strunks, they came across a smuggler named Chaut who was buying kiande amedha Ovomorphs from Nordling illegally for Bio-Dynamic. Chaut tried to get Jeri to do his thing with smoking one of the cigars that Nordling had given him, but Jeri explains he was in a hurry and Chaut told him to keep the cigar.

Jeri and a fellow synthetic named Dean did not like each other, mainly due to Dean's primary purpose — to destroy Kiande Amedha — meaning Jeri often found himself on the business end of Dean's plasma rifle. Jeri's ability to speak has saved him on more than one occasion. While Jeri helped the Strunks access Nordling's records, Dean threatened Jeri. After Dean stood down, Philip attacked Nordling, but Jeri's First Law Programming kicked in, Preventing Strunk from harming Nordling. When it came to other androids however, Jeri had no such programming and attacked Lizzy, another fellow Synthetic, to defend the Strunks, or the kiande amedha.

Dr. Payne broke out the weapons after Nordling released the kiande amedha from their Hive into the facility. Jeri and Dean joined with other synthetics to combat the kiande amedha. This allowed the Strunks to escape despite Joy's objection of leaving Jeri and the other Synthetics behind. Jeri mused how abstruse Joy was, particularly in times of crisis. Jeri has demonstrated the ability and skill to navigate complex computer systems, as well as utilize a standard issue pulse rifle in a combat situation. At this point, a severely damaged Jeri manages to get on board Nordling's emergency escape pod, surprising the scientist. With his systems failing, particularly his Asimov protocols, he did Nordling's favorite trick of smoking a cigar (which was laced with one of Nordling's viruses that activated by extreme heat) that was given to him by Chaut, which was originally given by Nordling himself in order to kill the smuggler, with his inner jaw. Jeri then puffed smoke in Nordling's face, telling him, "but I still know a son of a bitch when I see one", killing him. As Jeri's his systems were failing, what happened to Jeri is unknown.

XL1: "Norbert"

  • Aliens: Hive. Jerry Prosser and Kelley Jones, Dark Horse, 1993. Print.

Doctor Stanislaw Mayakovsky created Norbert as part of a plot between Mayakovsky and the thief Julie to infiltrate a kiande amedha Hive on a Grant Corporation-held hive world sometime after the corporation's first mission to the kiande amedha homeworld.

Norbert routinely plays fetch using a rubber ball with Mac.

The override to stop Norbert in his stalking/killing mode is "Priority Override Code Myrmidon. Cancel Predation functions. Return to standard protocol."

Norbert is equipped with visual receptors, bio-scanners (he scanned an unconscious Kiande Amedha), ultrasonic holography, and speech.

He also had a GPS-like tracking system.

TecSek

Produced by the Montcalm-Delacroix Corporation, TecSeks began as movie props. However, they found more use under the security forces of the company.

The TecSeks were damage resistant and could even withstand the Kiande Amedha's acidic blood. They mounted twin shoulder cannons and long claws.

The company AI named Toy deployed TecSeks to hunt down Caryn Delacroix and Big Mama, who destroyed most of the TecSeks.

Xenoborg

The Xenoborg was an experiment of Weyland-Yutani in an attempt to make the ultimate "super-soldier" weapon USS space station above Acheron (LV-426) in 2189.

Functioning mostly as a sentry turret, the cybernetically-enhanced Xenoborg was very slow and dumb, but with powerful twin lasers attached to its arms. The Xenoborg's otherwise enhanced cybernetically body retained some of its Kiande Amedha parts, including acid blood.

It was also very difficult to kill, needing explosives or dismembering by spear weapons to take down.
