PredAlien
|
The Predalien are large, bulky creatures, created when a Facehugger impregnates a Yautja, and shares many characteristics with its host.
- It has the Yautja's skin color, vocalizations, and mandibles - appearing right from the Chestburster stage.
- It had long hair-like "dreadlock" appendages. This raises the question whether the dreadlocks on a Yautja is hair or something else, especially when other human-spawned Kiande Amedha lacks any hair.
- It has the Kiande Amedha's inner jaws but thicker tails.
Like Ripley8, the Predalien seems to have access to the genetic memory of its host, as some Predaliens carry out ritualistic mutilation of their prey, as some form of instinctual throwback to Yautja customs passed down genetically from the host.
It is larger and stronger than either the Yautja or the Kiande Amedha as the Gunnison Predalien could pin, push, and knock a Yautja away easily.
The PredAliens are strong in terms of armor, but unfortunately, they are slow in maneuverability. When not attacked, PredAliens can also heal automatically.
- Years after the violent clash of Kiande Amedha against Yautja left the planet Ryushi a desolate wasteland, a mysterious alien beacon beams a distress signal from the supposedly abandoned world. When the Marine ship Brilliant responds to the call for aid, they step neck deep into disaster, going toe-to-toe with Kiande Amedha and a batch of fresh Yautja. During the conflict, this Predalien was born amidst a firefight between Captain Glass and his platoon and Clan Leader Light-Stepper, and fled without either party noticing. It would later attack Glass's group while preparing for attack from the Yautja. It would ruin his squad, while Glass himself killed two Yautja, leaving Glass, Light-Stepper and the Ryushi Predalien as the sole representatives of each species left in the fight. Light-Stepper and the Predalien would immediately engage in combat but the Predalien swiftly overpowered its Yautja opponent. Realizing the imminent danger, Glass distracted the Predalien with his Pulse Rifle, allowing Light-Stepper to kill it with a Plasma Caster shot. The surviving Marine and Light-Stepper held a short truce after successfully killing the creature together.
- The Marines encountered a PredAlien in 2189 on LV-426 - an experiment by humans through combining Kiande Amedha and Yautja DNA (from a captured Yautja in Area 52). It had red skin, made pig-like sounds and moved slowly. A glass-ball-like stasis field kept it prisoner, which triggered the bases self-destruct upon breaking. A Yautja fought and killed the Predalien while tracking down his captured brother and restored honor to his clan.
- A PredAlien was on LV-1201 in 2230. It is strong, and can jump far, but it is also slow. It cannot head-bite its victims, so it uses its mandibles to do this. It was born from a facehugged Ancient Yautja, and wreaked havoc even as a Chestburster. Fully grown, it caused the downfall of the Pod 5 complex. It escaped to the surface of the planet with its fellow Kiande Amedha, never seen again.
- There were two Predaliens on LV-412. The first, called a Berserker Alien and born from a Super Yautja, featured darker skin with a red blister on its forehead. The regular Predalien had a more traditional design.
- On LV-742, the Predalien had a high durability but somewhat slow. They can heal themselves automatically when not attacked.
- Dr. Reinstöt's minions hunted down and caught a lone Yautja on Cursed Earth. Reinstöt discovered a Kiande Amedha skull onboard the Yautja's ship and extracted DNA from it, resulting in the creation of Ovomorphs. The resulting Predalien was a tough creature with dreadlocks and tusks, as well as a traditional Predalien appearance. Dr. Reinstöt and his strange creations were brought down by Judge Dredd and four other Yautja searching for their missing brother. A plasma caster explosion devastated the Predalien during their battle in Cursed Earth.
- On BG-386, the Abomination was a formidable Predalien offspring of the Wolf Yautja. The Abomination had tusks and tiny dreadlocks, but he resembled a traditional Kiande Amedha. It went on a rampage around BG-386, smashing Marine encampments in frontal assaults and ripping victims' spines out like its host species. The fact that it existed was a huge affront to the Yautja hunting party. At Spartan's order, Dark would chase the Abomination through a ruined Hive, an Ancient Yautja temple, a duel with a Praetorian, and several human/synthetic encampments. Dark was diverted from his pursuit of the Abomination in order to demolish the Yautja temple on BG-386, but the hybrid beast attacked him and crashed into the reactor below, where lava was erupting from the earth. The Abomination proved ridiculously resilient in the final confrontation. It was far too powerful to be moved or shocked by Dark in physical combat, requiring him to rely primarily on ranged weapons and allowing him to remain in magma for a short time. In a fit of wrath, it smashed the ground, causing parts of the temple to collapse. It eventually perished, and its ruins, along with the temple, were destroyed.

Predaliens: Yautja Connection
The Yautja consider Predaliens in any form as abominations that defile their sacred bloodline. Yautja destroy Predaliens on sight.
Gunnison PredAlien
|
In Earth-Space in 2004, a Predalien Chestburster spawns from the Scar's body. This Predalien was a vicious Kiande Amedha, killing two Yautja on the spaceship before returning to the small Gunnison town. It killed several humans and infected various pregnant women with bellybursters, and fought Wolf to a stalemate. Ultimately, a nuke detonated in the Gunnison town, killing the PredAlien.
The Gunnison Predalien could impregnate a human host with multiple Kiande Amedha embryos via its inner jaw by shoving them down the throats of a host, as a Facehugger does. After gestation, four or more Bellybursters will burst out of a host's stomach, killing the host in the process, growing into regular Kiande Amedha without any Yautja features.
Predalien Queen
|
The Predalien Queen was unique of its kind, and not born from a Yautja.
Dr. Kadinsky of Weyland-Yutani created it on LV-742, after the K-series Kiande Amedha. He spliced Yautja DNA with a Kiande Amedha Queen that resulted in the Predalien Queen. The Queen itself had tusks but no dreadlocks. Its brownish color was more in line with the other Predaliens in the list.
Most of the time, the Queen was attached to and egg sack and moved slowly when separated from it. The Ancient Yautja council ordered this Predelien hunted down, its skull later placed in the Yautja's shrine.
