Intro
The Kiande Amedha come in various forms, each with its own abilities. Among them are Facehuggers, Chestbursters, and drones. Other categories include runners, Praetorians, and Predaliens.
Its life cycle (the four stages and cocooning process) is like that of other insects on Earth, including parasitic wasps. A parasitoid wasp stings a spider to paralyze it and then lays its eggs inside. The eggs develop from the spider's body, like a surrogate mother. In this way, the spider serves as food for the larvae. There are even microscopic parasites that move from animal to animal and have complex life cycles.
Kiande Amedha life cycles consist of several stages:
- At first, they are Ovomorphs.
- As a parasitoid larva, the Facehugger emerges from the Ovomorph and attaches itself to the host's face. Hosts for Facehugger could be as small as a cat or as large as an elephant.
- Facehuggers implant embryos in hosts, which develop into chestbursters.
- Following gestation, the chestburster emerges from the host's chest, killing it.
- The Chestburster matures into an adult.
Their social structure is a caste system governed by the largest of the Kiande Amedha: the queen.
